Immediate and spontaneous reflection, so much a part of painting in watercolor, allows expression of a dynamic atmospheric climate, and in this painting the way summer mists rise in early morning became the subject. I added details to part of this work but left much to the viewer’s imagination –as walking in mist does.
Low water Bridge
Low water bridge was a place where a nearby river had a low cement bridge, almost a ford and had been built in a different time. In driving across, the proximity of water, wildlife and the reflection of sunrises was always different and extraordinary. This is the subject of this painting.
